Poly-Caster Spreader

The new FISHER® POLY-CASTER^TM spreader combines a rust-resistant double-wall poly hopper with a quiet, maintenance free electric drive system for the ultimate in de-icing equipment. Standard features include a cleated rubber belt conveyor, a quick detach spinner and chute assembly, top screen and hinged plastic covers that also serve as a spill guard during material loading. Spreads sand, salt or sand/salt combination.

• Standard top screen and two-piece poly cover that serves as a spill guard to keep material out of the bed of your truck.

• Molded rear "feet" for ease of removal, cleaning and storage.

• Quick detach spinner assembly for easier spreader removal and storage, and left over material discharge.

• Belt conveyor driven by a single 1/2 HP electric motor delivers a more even flow of material.

• Adjustable feedgate to regulate material flow.

• Optional inverted Vee Kit helps reduce heavy started-up loads on the drive train.

Pro-Caster Spreader

The FISHER^® PRO-CASTER^TM hopper spreaders are perfect for ice control on driveways, roads and parking lots. Available in 7', 8' and 10' body lengths in powder coated steel or stainless steel, these rugged v-box type spreaders mount easily on pick-up, dump or platform trucks. All spreaders are covered by the Fisher^® Two Season Warranty.

• The poly spinner will not rust, promoting longer life.
• Replaceable poly spinner chute deflectors will not rust and are more forgiving when encountering obstacles while you're backing up.
• Center High Mounted Stoplight (CHMSL) is standard and meets FMVSS requirement.

The conveyor on the PRO-CASTER^TM spreaders is 16" wide pintle chain. This wider conveyor reduces "bridging" and moves more material for faster unloading.

The v-belt engine drive for the conveyor system is smoother, quieter and more forgiving than a roller chain if a rock jams the conveyor. The use of a v-belt also eliminates potential corrosion problems.

All models offer your choice of 10 HP I/C Tecumseh or 11 HP I/C Honda engine. The 8' and 10' models are also available with a hydraulic motor. Gas engine spreaders feature cab mounted electronic throttle control with choke indicator light and electric clutch.
